Board of Directors

USU is governed by a board of student directors, elected by Members. The Board has monthly meetings, which all Members are eligible to attend. Any Member may run for a board position. Board Directors are elected for a two-year term, with half the Board retiring annually. Information on nominations and elections is posted on this website and in The Bull at the beginning of each year. The USU Constitution and USU Regulations and Directors' Duty Statements are available to download from our Important Documents page.

The Directors formulate USU Policy and act upon the recommendations of USU Committees and members (see Committees). All USU members are eligible to run for a Board position. Board Directors are elected for a two-year period (from 1 July to 30 June two years thereafter) with half the board retiring annually. Nominations open during O-Week and close by the end of March.
