The USU supports approximately 200 Clubs and Societies that you can join to pursue your own interests.
All Clubs and Societies organise their own activities and events. Being a part of one is a great way to get involved in campus life, to meet people who share your interests and to gain valuable organisational experience. There are clubs and societies focused on politics, culture, the arts, religion, hobbies, departments and faculties.
The sorts of opportunities brought to you through Clubs and Societies give you a once in a lifetime chance to gain experience in a friendly environment. Once you leave university and enter the workforce, these opportunities are seldom available. It is these opportunities that allow us all to gain an education that extends far beyond the classroom.
If there isn’t a club that caters to your interests, you can create your own!
