Production Timeline
The annual Revue Season is an important part of the USU's cultural calendar and the latest chapter of the rich dramatic tradition at The University of Sydney. Revues are revered for their side-splitting combination of political satire, merciless parodies and irreverent humour.
Revues enrich lives on both sides of the curtain, promising fun and experience for students that produce and perform, and entertainment for audiences in the university community and theatre-viewing public. Past revuers have gone on to contribute greatly to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, The Aunty Jack Show, The Chaser, the Adelaide Fringe Festival and Triple J. The 2008 season of faculty revues takes place as part of Verge 2008, a student-run arts festival supported by the USU.
2008 heralds the introduction of the Commerce Revue to the Season, complementing the return of the Science, Architecture, Engineering, Medical, Law and Arts cohorts in the revues line-up.
Revue applications open on 27 February and close on the 31 March.
Revue application forms are available from The ACCESS Centre.
