Kick Start offers exceptional students the financial support to further develop their skills, networks and opportunities. We want to help you make great things happen.
How does it work?
Approved individuals or groups, will receive up to $1000 funding for a wide range of endeavours including, but not limited to, academic, art, community, cultural, entrepreneurial, environmental and leadership.
Students have achieved some amazing things through this program. Past projects have included publications by the Arts Students Society and Writers Society, an intervarsity circus cabaret, Concert for Kids by the Wind Orchestra, a trip to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, art exhibitions at SCA, the Vinnies Society Winter Sleep out, a trip to South Africa to play in the World Ultimate Frisbee Championships and an honours research trip to an academic conference in Spain.
Kick Start is the seed from which bigger things grow. For instance, it may inspire and assist you to seek additional funding from other sources you may need to realise your dream.
2011 applications will be reviewed monthly and may be submitted at any time during the year.
