Postgraduate
The University of Sydney Union recognises the valuable contribution made by members of the Post Graduate community to the ethos of the University. Furthermore the USU appreciates that more can be done to improve the University experience of this important cohort. To this end the role of the Post Graduate Convenor has been developed on order that the relation between the USU and the post graduates of all varieties might be explored and improved.
Specific Responsibilities
- In consultation with staff, members of the SPAC Committee, the Programs Department and other relevant groups, develop a relevant program of “student experience building” events and services
- Work actively as a conduit between the USU and post graduates to ensure that post graduate views and opinions are heard
- To keep in regular contact and consult with staff and the Postgraduate Forum/Committee on the proposed program.
