Hermes
is USU’s annual literary journal which features exciting new writing by members of the University community. It is Australia’s oldest literary journal and thus has a long and proud history.

It is a unique opportunity for writers and artists to publish their poetry, short stories, articles, comics, illustrations, drawings and photos. It is produced by four student editors appointed by USU members and staff and relies on contributions from the University community for its content.

The 2008 Hermes was launched amidst great cheer, tasty food and sparkling beverages in The Withdrawing Room, Holme Building on Wednesday 09 September.

The launch, part of the USU's Verge Arts Festival, justly celebrated Australasia's oldest literary jounral.  This year's editors were: Allan Tieu, Samuel Mogine, Sara Gaghdoosti and Peter Johnson.

Hermes is available in publication stands in Manning House, Holme Building and Wentworth Building.
