MADSOC presents: VERGE FESTIVAL DANCE WALK!

Ever wanted to swagger down to Manning with a boombox held high above your head?

Well, now's your chance!

The Movement and Dance Society (MADSOC) is organising a dance walk in conjunction with Verge Festival, the University of Sydney Union's flagship arts event of the year! The event is open to everyone at Sydney Uni. The more people the better, so grab all your friends, put on some funky dance gear and come join us as we turn Sydney Uni into one giant dance floor! :)

So here's what you need to know:


DANCE WALK


Date: Thursday 11th of October
Time: 1pm (Gather at Cadigal Green at 12.45pm)
Location: We’ll start at Cadigal Green (in front of the steps leading to the Molecular Bioscience building), head across the bridge to Eastern Avenue, and finish up in front of Manning House.

Dance Walking - where geeks and dance collide.It's the newest fitness craze from the Big Apple, a Youtube viral hit that went global earlier this year. It's a three-in-one deal that combines the best things in life: dancing, seeing the sights, and meeting people!

So dress up in your favourite dancing gear (whether it be LMFAO-style leopard prints, MC Hammer pants, or pink tutus) and polish up your favourite dance moves. Come join us -and our boomin' boombox- as MADSOC brings Dance Walking to Sydney Uni!
