Unibodhi's 30th Birthday Celebration

This year signifies 30 years since the establishment of Unibodhi, which means 30 years ago this year, Buddhism was first introduced to the campus of Sydney University. Since that time, there have been hundreds upon hundreds of talks and meditation sessions, as well as numerous Maitri nights. This has meant that thousands of students in this time have been introduced to the light of the dharma, gained wisdom, and forged strong spiritual friendships.

We couldn’t have gotten this far without the endless support of our alumni and friends, and thus in celebration of Unibodhi's achievement, we are going to be holding a gathering of past and current Unibodhi executives, supporters, friends, and members on the 21st of September from 6pm on campus at Sydney University’s Wentworth Student Lounge (Level 4). Venerable Mahinda has confirmed that he will be joining us to celebrate this momentous occasion, and we are now extending this invitation to you in the hope that you’d also join us in celebrating this special occasion.

Tickets will be available for sale, and the price will include dinner. We would definitely appreciate an RSVP before the 9th of September, so that our executive team will roughly know how many people to cater for.
