Ever wanted to dance your way down Eastern Avenue?
Well, now's your chance!
The Movement and Dance Society (MADSOC) is organising a flashmob in conjunction with Verge Festival, the University of Sydney Union's flagship arts event of the year! It's open to everyone at Sydney Uni. The more people the better, so grab all your friends, put on some funky dance gear and come join us as we turn Sydney Uni into one giant dance floor! :)
So here's what you need to know:
FLASHMOB
Date: Tuesday 9th of October
Time: 1pm
Location: Eastern Avenue
Song: Timbaland feat Ne-yo, ‘Hands in the Air’ (featured in the movie Step Up 4!)
The flashmob will be choreographed and taught by MADSOC member Jeff Rufila, who recently featured as a hip-hop crew member in our major production Nocturne. Jeff promises that the choreography is fun and easy, so even if you haven't danced before, come on down to rehearsals and try out the choreo!

PS - For those who’d like to join the flashmob but can’t make the rehearsal sessions, we will try and upload a video of the choreography just before the mid-sem break to help you learn it in your own spare time.
